Data residency is a technical constraint. If EU data touches a US server without supplementary measures, you are in violation of Schrems II.
Geofencing Data
Utilize cloud region constraints. An AWS RDS instance in `eu-central-1` must not replicate to `us-east-1` for disaster recovery without explicit legal mechanisms (SCCs).
